Fish have been on the Earth for over 500 million years, before the dinosaurs roamed on the planet. In some species the males and females have different shaped bodies or different coloring; in other species there is no visible difference.
Fish belong to one of the six general animal groups which are: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. Fish are animals that have brains and can feel pain. There are lots of different kinds of fish, which are different in size and shape from each others. All fish live in water and have gills, scales and fins.
There are three catagories of fish
Bony fish – Like tuna and salmon
Cartilaginous fish – Like sharks and rays
Jawless fish – Hagfish and lampreys

According to fossil records, they have been on Earth for more than 500 million years.

All the creatures that live in water are not fish. Fish are cold-blooded, which means their internal body temperature changes as the surrounding temperature changes. 40% of all fish species inhabit fresh water, yet less than .01% of the earth’s water is fresh water.
Length or body mass
Fishes length from less than 10 mm (0.4 inch) to more than 20 meters (60 feet) and in weight from about 1.5 grams (less than 0.06 ounce) to many thousands of kilograms. Some live in shallow thermal springs at temperatures. Some species of fish can fly (glide) others can skip along the surface and others can even climb rock. The largest fish is the great whale shark which can reach fifty feet in length. The smallest fish is the Philippine goby that is less than 1/3 of an inch when fully grown. Fish feel pain and suffer stress just like mammals and birds.
Fish body and feelings
Fish are unique in that they have a combination of gills and fins and that they live only in the water. While some invertebrates and amphibians have gills, some mammals and amphibians have fins and lots of animals live in water, only fish have the combination of all three attributes. Just like other animals, fish respond to painful events with changes in their behaviour and physiology. Fish learn to avoid things that cause them harm.
Food and diet
Fish eat other fish, fish eggs, mollusks, aquatic plants, algae, zooplankton, terrestrial insects, water birds, turtles, frogs, snakes and mice.
Reproduction
The great majority of fish hatch small eggs. After lying eggs, all are scattered in the water. Newly hatched young are still partially undeveloped and are called larvae until body structures such as fins, skeleton, and some organs are fully formed. Larval life is often very short, usually less than a few weeks. but it can be very long.
Lifespan
Many small fishes live only one to three years at the most. In some species, however, individuals may live as long as 10 or 20 or even 100 years.
The life cycle of marine fishes is comprised of four developmental stages: embryo, egg , larva , small fish and adult.

There are many methods of merinate the meat of any kind. Now we are ready for grilled fish. Start with lemon, cumin, and a sprinkle of salt. you should choose with an easy side like grilled veggies or a quick salad to make the ideal meal. More delicate fish, you should use grill basket for grilling it.
Grill fish in foil paper
Grilling fish in foil is the best solution for very delicate fish. It keeps the fish in moisture and helps the heat distribute evenly. It also allows you to add in herbs and veggies in foil grilling.

Rub fish pieces with olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt and black pepper. Place each fillet on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Arrange vegetables slices on top and sides of fillets. Carefully seal all edges of the foil to form enclosed packets. Place packets on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of fish. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
